It all started with the CR84FN Color Challenge... just look at this lovely color combination!
I started playing around with some stamps and made a purple butterfly stamped and heat embossed on a scrap of gold pearl linen card stock from The PaperTemptress Store.
Out of the ten tons of designer paper I have I couldn't find just the right paper. I started thinking about all of the digi kits I used to collect when I was scrap booking.
I wanted my paper to have the same beautiful sparkling sheen that the butterfly had. Light bulb moment... (ok so I'm slow! lol) I picked out some digital papers from the The Shabby Princess then printed them onto a sheet of the same gold pearl linen card stock as the butterfly. I loved the results... I will definitely be playing with my digi papers more often!
I love that I can give my patterned digi papers any texture I'd like... glossy, matte, smooth the sky's the limit...especially if you visit The PaperTemptress store. There are so many choices that you definitely need to visit with a nice cup of coffee in hand. ;D That's because you'll want to get lost in all of that glorius paper, card stock and ribbon. I think I'll go check it out now...

Just beautiful, I love the shimmer from your digi card background, I would never have thought to do that! Beautiful butterfly and ribbon treatment, just gorgeous!

Wow, Diana, I don't know which I like the best -- the printed papers ... or maybe that gorgeous butterfly ... perhaps the stickpins ... or the lace. It is altogether an extremely lovely card!
