Greetings from not so sunny Pensacola, FL ! Very dark rainy day today!
I'm home with cup of hot cocoa snuggled in keeping warm and dry. Makes the rainy day not so bad!
I'm looking forward to spring...how about you? Here is a bright little card reminding us to "embrace life" even if it is dark and dreary outside!
This is made for the Mojo sketch challenge. I saw this sketch and thought it was so unique. I would never have thought of it... I found it a bit tricky but I'm pleased with the balance I was able to acheive.
Pretty cool sketch, right? I'm headed over to the Mojo site to check out how everyone else interpreted this sketch!
I used this Layers of Color Butterfly Collector stamp set constantly lately. I stamped it first on card stock and embossed in purple. Second, I stamped on vellum with my Tsukineko Versamark dazzle and embossed in a clear sparkle powder. And third, I stamped on my dp and embossed in purple....then cut out the butterly center. Then the three pieces were layered together for a cute little centerpiece for my card.
I've enjoyed the Verve "embrace life" sentiment stamp very much as well! I also used my trusty Spellbinders nestibilities, which by the way I cut and embossed with my brand new Grand Caliber!! Eeeeek! I got one and it's the bomb! It embosses so beautifully and rolls so smoothly.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your support!
